HARA The Label
Saint Albans Full-day Part-time

Description:

Two sister brands, HARA and HINU, are now looking for someone to run our social media and care for our community.

Who is HARA?

Founded in 2016, HARA was created as a way of life. A celebration of the natural body, simple living and care for Mother Earth. We design minimal pieces that feel good on the body, are made to last, and are gentle on the planet.

HARA is proudly female founded and female owned. As members of 1% for the Planet, we are committed to supporting environmental initiatives that protect and restore the world we share.

Who is HINU?

HINU, meaning oil in Māori is a space dedicated to creating slow and intentional remedies, founded by Allie Cameron. Each product has been designed to make the daily hair routine a ritual, to celebrate the longevity of healthier hair.

What does the role involve?

We are looking for a Social Media and Community Coordinator to bring HARA and HINU to life across Instagram and TikTok.

This is a hands on, creative role for someone who loves making content, lives and breathes social media, and feels excited by storytelling, community and capturing everyday moments that feel honest, warm and on brand.

You will be comfortable filming in the studio, at fittings, on shoot days, and in the small in between moments that reflect real life at HARA. You will turn these into thoughtful, scroll stopping videos and visuals that feel natural and beautiful.

Key responsibilities

Content creation

  • Plan and coordinate HARA and HINU's social content calendar
  • Film and edit short form video that feels real and on brand
  • Capture studio life, fittings, shoot days and behind the scenes moments
  • Create and repurpose content into Reels, TikToks, carousels and Stories
  • Write captions in the HARA and HINU voice

Photoshoot and studio support

  • Capture social first content at photoshoots
  • Work closely with the founder and team to document key moments
  • Confidently capture content independently when needed

Blog and website support

  • Assist with building blog posts and selecting website imagery

Community engagement

  • Respond to comments and direct messages with warmth and clarity
  • Nurture conversations and make our community feel seen and heard
  • Support sharing UGC, customer stories and creator content
  • Flag meaningful feedback and trends from the community to the team

You are:

  • Early in your career or have 1 to 2 years experience. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Across what is happening in social media
  • Comfortable behind and in front of the camera
  • Confident editing short form video using Canva, CapCut, InShot or similar
  • Organised, proactive and able to own projects from start to finish
  • Thoughtful in how you engage with audiences
  • Curious about trends but able to filter them through brand tone
  • Interested in fashion, nature, community and slow living
  • Melbourne based and able to work from our Braybrook studio
  • A strong collaborator who enjoys working in a fast paced environment

Bonus
  • Experience with fashion or lifestyle brands
  • Canva or Adobe skills
  • Experience working with creators or UGC

What we can offer

You will be part of a small, creative team working on a brand people feel deeply connected to. Your ideas will be seen, your work will be valued, and the content you create will be experienced by thousands of women every day.

  • Opportunity to grow as the brand evolves
  • Small, supportive and creative team
  • Melbourne studio location close to public transport
  • A calm and creative workspace
  • Free HARA underwear and HINU Hair Oil

Why this matters

At HARA and HINU you are not just posting.

You are telling the story of women, body confidence, ritual and community, and shaping how our brand is felt every day.
