Description:
As a System Tester, You Will- Provide reports on progress, quality, metrics, anomalies and risks to management in relation to system testing issues.
- Define and create test cases and regression test packs from analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications and record results and summary of test outcomes using agreed methods and standards, supported by a good understanding of the system development cycle.
- Specify requirements for test environments, data, tools and other resources required to perform testing.
- Review requirements and specifications and define test requirements for solutions.
- Record and analyse actions and results and maintain a defect register.
- Maintain and develop all required documentation, including system test strategies, progress, system quality, issue and risk reports, test plans, test completion reports, standards, defect register, processes and procedures.
- Facilitate the documentation and communication of recommendations regarding test outcomes and test metrics to proceed with the tested changes.
Uses appropriate tools, techniques and technologies for testing and support that are compliant with industry best standards. Experience in utilising IT service management and software development processes and frameworks, testing large and complex enterprise systems. To be successful, you will need to be able demonstrate the following skills and experience.
- Experience in analysing requirements.
- Experience with creating test cases and executing test cases, including regression tests.
- Experience with raising defects and managing defects through the Defect Management Lifecycle.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Demonstrated test experience in CRM and Case Management applications.
- Experience with a range of testing methodologies, practices and procedures, including experience in both system testing and acceptance testing.
- A sound understanding of DevOps practices and principals including hands on experience.
- Experience with D365 Portals, Canvas App and Power Pages is desirable
