A rare CEO mandate: take a proven industrial technology platform from pilot validation into revenue, commercial deployment and profitability — while leading an ASX-listed company through its next phase of growth.
Our client is an ASX-listed industrial technology business with a differentiated platform positioned to disrupt parts of mining, critical minerals, recycling/urban mining, renewable energy and select industrial processing markets . The technology has been proven through research, industrial trials and pilot activity, and the business now requires an executive leader to convert that platform into commercial outcomes . The Board is appointing a Group CEO to lead the transition from validation to execution — aligning strategy, capital markets, partnerships and operational delivery to achieve commercial scale.
You will operate as the accountable executive for strategy and delivery, with a clear focus on commercial outcomes:
- Set and execute corporate strategy to move from pilot to commercial deployment, with measurable milestones
- Lead capital markets strategy : investor relations, market communications, funding pathways and milestone alignment
- Originate and execute inorganic growth initiatives (M&A, strategic investments, acquisitions, capability lift) to accelerate commercialisation
- Build and lead strategic partnerships across recycling, critical minerals and industrial processing supply chains (including international markets)
- Own P&L, budgeting, cashflow discipline, risk management and performance reporting
- Establish a high-performance culture across technical, commercial and corporate functions
- Ensure ASX-standard governance, compliance and transparent reporting
- Represent the company with government, regulators, industry bodies, media and strategic stakeholders
- Build the organisational structure and senior leadership capability required for scale
- Identify and secure government grants aligned to strategic and commercial objectives
You’re a credible, outcomes-led CEO who can lead through ambiguity and convert technology advantage into commercial results.
- Proven CEO/GM/Executive leadership experience in an ASX-listed (or similarly governed) environment
- Demonstrated success taking technology/industrial processes from development into scalable operations
- Strong exposure to one or more of: critical minerals, battery materials, recycling/urban mining, hydrometallurgy, chemical processing, commodity trading, steel, industrial scale-ups
- Track record in capital raising , investor management and delivering market-facing milestones
- Strong deal capability: JVs, offtakes, strategic collaborations, consortiums, M&A
- High integrity, clear communicator, comfortable engaging Board, investors and external stakeholders
