Description:
The Financial Controller will be responsible or
- Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage the transactional finance team and 2 x Financial Accountants
- Produce the year end statutory accounts and be POC for the auditors
- Inventory Accounting and ownership of this
- Business partner with Corporate and be involved in Corporate Accounting
- Manage cash flow and forecasting activities to ensure financial stability.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the organisation's assets.
Requirements:
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA.
- Strong experience within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to a global organisation
- Background in audit preferred
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
