Description:

The Financial Controller will be responsible or

  • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage the transactional finance team and 2 x Financial Accountants
  • Produce the year end statutory accounts and be POC for the auditors
  • Inventory Accounting and ownership of this
  • Business partner with Corporate and be involved in Corporate Accounting
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting activities to ensure financial stability.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the organisation's assets.

Requirements:

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Strong experience within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to a global organisation
  • Background in audit preferred
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
