Role Overview
Responsible for leading operational process and execution across D2C, Retail and Event verticals for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Owner for operational KPI’s and service levels supporting AUS expansion across all verticals and NZ fulfilment
- Contract management of 3PL service provision covering D2C and retail replenishment in AUS and NZ
- Ownership of the domestics carrier relationships and service performance for AUS/ NZ delivery
- Leadership of operational planning to support Event operations
- Lead capacity planning for the AUS / NZ markets
- Facilitate, plan and execute operational aspects for new product or service launches
- Develop, lead, and implement tactical opportunities to leverage improved scale to optimise service and cost.
- Responsible for fulfilment centre budget.
- Develop effective business partnerships with all senior department leaders and facilitate cross functional activities to meet or exceed established annual operating plans for the region.
- Be the operational subject matter expert supporting ambitious business growth and profitability
- Working knowledge and experience working within AUS operational landscape
- Experience in managing 3PL contracts and service providers
- Proficient in fulfilment operations and optimising efficiency
- Experienced in technical investigations and route cause analysis.
- Highly numerate. Able to validate action and support decisions with data
- Proficient in Standard Microsoft Applications
- Experience in Ecommerce as a functional leader and preferably, as a site leader
- Experience with using WMS/ ERPs to optimise performance
- Experience supporting a high growth startup/ scaleup team
