Description:
- Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis, ensuring accurate reporting of financial performance.
- Own inventory accounting, including stock valuation, reconciliations, provisions, and investigation of variances.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, tracking performance and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Partner with retail and operational teams to provide clear financial insight and support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards using advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Support process improvements, controls, and system enhancements within a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements:
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, with strong inventory accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using data to produce clear, actionable insight (Power BI desirable).
- Experience in a retail or consumer-facing environment, or a strong understanding of high-volume stock operations.
- Commercially minded, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
- Clear communicator who can partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
