Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Payroll Officer to join our growing team in Perth. This role is ideal for someone with payroll and HR administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting employees with accurate, on-time pay.
Key Responsibilities Include, However Are Not Limited To
- Process end-to-end payroll runs accurately and on schedule
- Maintain and update the time and attendance system
- Process superannuation monthly and reconcile to finance figures
- Reconcile and lodge payroll tax monthly, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Reconcile and process payments to third-party providers
- Respond to employee payroll enquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate and compliant payroll records
- Complete termination calculations and process employee exits
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a payroll and/or human resources environment (preferred)
- Strong administration experience in an HR or payroll setting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
