ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for a commercially minded, hands on Head of Marketing to own and scale Apéro Label’s global growth. This role sits at the intersection of brand, performance, and profitability, with full ownership of the ecommerce P&L and end to end marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with the Founders to turn bold ideas into measurable results, leading a small but mighty team while building the systems, strategy and momentum needed for the next phase of growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial Ownership & Digital Strategy
- Own the ecommerce P&L end to end, including revenue, margin, CAC and overall profitability.
- Set and execute the marketing strategy across brand, performance, retention and international markets.
- Lead aggressive digital growth initiatives across key trading moments and multiple regions (local and international).
- Own campaign planning from start to finish, timelines, briefs, resourcing, execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Own Klaviyo end-to-end: campaign calendar, automated flows, segmentation, list growth and retention strategy.
- Lead website optimisation with a constant focus on CRO, customer journey improvements and revenue efficiency.
- Translate Founder and Creative Direction into compelling, on-brand marketing that resonates with our customers and converts.
Paid Performance, Analytics & Reporting
- Own the numbers. Measure performance, assess ROI and MER to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Own channel strategy and execution across Meta, TikTok, and emerging channels (Search, Shopping, YouTube as relevant).
- Deliver regular insights, reporting and recommendations to guide optimisation and future growth.
- Balance brand-building with performance outcomes across both acquisition and retention.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team, setting clear objectives and driving continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Founders and wider business on hiring, KPIs and performance reviews as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience leading high-performing marketing strategies within an ecommerce or DTC environment.
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing, including senior ownership of digital channels, content, data-driven decision making and campaign management.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into clear actions and growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing small teams, with confidence hiring and scaling as needed.
- Exceptional organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working closely with founders, making autonomous decisions and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
