Our friendly IT team has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced IT Support Engineer who has a passion for all things technology to join the team in our Lidcombe office . This role upholds excellence in all Service Delivery and Service Management Activities in accordance with ITIL principles. You will be part of a dynamic team in an ever changing environment that takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities
- Act as the primary escalation point for Level 1 support, resolving complex hardware and software issues that require deep-dive troubleshooting.
- Own and execute infrastructure-based projects from start to finish.
- Drive the technical success of mergers and acquisitions by auditing legacy environments and spearheading the seamless migration and integration of new teams into our ecosystem.
- Act as a technical mentor for the team, providing active mentorship and guidance to junior staff to elevate the collective skill set of the department.
- Ensure all customer queries are addressed with urgency and precision, consistently meeting or exceeding defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with system administration and asset management tasks
- Assist the senior support team with the resolution of networking and server issues
- Essential: Diploma in IT.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an IT Help desk environment.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated capability with Google, Gmail, GSuite, Active Directory and Citrix
- Knowledge and understanding of Chromebooks would be beneficial
- Demonstrated capability with Windows 10/11 and Server 2012 to 2016
- Demonstrated knowledge of switching protocols, DNS, DHCP and networking
- Knowledge of Vmware (ESX) and virtual machines would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to interpret customer issues and resolutions
