We are seeking a proactive Projects Support Officer to join our team, supporting the day-to-day operations and projects for project managers in our Melbourne office.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide comprehensive project support services to Project Managers to ensure efficient and effective project control and management.
- Provide support to Project Managers with invoicing and debtor follow up, timesheet monitoring to ensure timely completion, expense claims against billable projects and other support duties as appropriate.
- Populate and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure go/no-go, signed proposals and contracts, purchase orders and variations are executed and recorded on project files.
- Assist with the tendering process and the preparation of marketing collateral.
- Prepare reports and record minutes relating to project progress reviews, activities and deliverables through CRM and other relevant systems
- Provide general administrative support, as required
To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting technical electrical distribution or energy projects. In addition, you will also have:
- Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
- Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated experience supporting projects in the energy or electrical distribution industry
- Sound IT skills with working knowledge of SAP, advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
