Work that matters
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant (A) to support an externally-funded research program directed by the Dean of Health Innovation, Precincts and Partnerships within the discipline of Cancer Research and the Prostate Tumour Microenvironment and Therapeutics Laboratory. The project concerns the characterisation of targeting Inhibitory kappa B kinase alpha (IKKalpha) as a new treatment paradigm for inflammatory-driven cancers . We wish to appoint a researcher with experience and expertise in the development and utilisation of in vivo models to understand cancer progression and evaluation of therapeutic approaches to controlling cancer.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Honours degree in biology (or related field) with experience developing and using in vivo cancer models and molecular biology techniques to study cancer progression and the effects of therapeutic interventions.
