Description:
- Develop, maintain and adjust daily production schedules, ensuring changes are communicated to all relevant departments
- Reconcile daily forecasts, customer orders, stock-on-hand and actual production volumes to maintain accurate planning
- Liaise with Processing, Dispatch, Purchasing, QA and Sales teams to support achievement of daily sales and service targets
- Monitor material requirements to identify potential stock imbalances and over/under production risks
- Track and audit production, inventory and stock take data, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
- Coordinate raw material and finished goods transfers across warehouse locations
- Support demand and supply planning activities, including daily, weekly and monthly forecasting to maintain service levels
- Enter and manage production orders within SAP and Marel systems
- Maintain Excel-based planning trackers and operational reporting tools
- Participate in cross-functional planning and operations meetings to support continuous improvement
Requirements:
A successful Planner should have:
- A strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
