Description:
- Manage and lead a team of safety & training professionals.
- Act as the key safety leader across the site, assisting with the implementation of safety practice, particularly at the leadership level.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate HSEQT practices into daily operations.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage internal and external key stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of escalation for safety, quality & training matters
- Drive continuous improvement processes and systems to enhance overall quality and safety.
Requirements:
A successful HSEQT Superintendent should have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field.
- Proven expertise in HSEQT management within mining or construction operations.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering training programs.
- Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
