Description:

  • Manage and lead a team of safety & training professionals.
  • Act as the key safety leader across the site, assisting with the implementation of safety practice, particularly at the leadership level.
  • Collaborate with department heads to integrate HSEQT practices into daily operations.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage internal and external key stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of escalation for safety, quality & training matters
  • Drive continuous improvement processes and systems to enhance overall quality and safety.



Requirements:

A successful HSEQT Superintendent should have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in HSEQT management within mining or construction operations.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering training programs.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
