Council is seeking a motivated and skilled Asset Systems and GIS Officer to support and enhance our asset information, spatial data, and the ongoing configuration of our new enterprise Asset Management System.About The Role
- Permanent full time with access to a monthly RDO
- Band 5 - $74,349 to $86,072
Key Responsibilities Include
- Maintaining and updating the Asset Management System (workflows, forms, reporting, asset classes)
- Coordinating asset data updates, new asset capture and reconciliation across systems
- Maintaining GIS datasets, spatial layers and producing mapping outputs
- Supporting system users with troubleshooting, guidance and training
- Assisting with compliance reporting, revaluations, lifecycle modelling and data quality reviews
- Contributing to process improvements, data governance and documentation
- Supporting shared‑service alignment within the AMS environment
We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a technical mindset and an interest in improving asset and GIS data systems.
You Will Bring
- Experience with asset management systems, GIS platforms or digital data tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to interpret plans, asset data and spatial information
- Confidence supporting users and explaining technical concepts
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
