Description:
- Manage end to end employee relations casework, including performance, conduct, complex grievances and workplace investigations.
- Interpret policies, procedures and enterprise agreements, advising on risks and compliant pathways.
- Develop relationships and provide clear, practical coaching to leaders - building capability in decision making and accountability.
- Support dispute resolution processes and contribute to building consistent ER practice across the operational workforce.
- Support managers in interpreting and applying industrial agreements and employment legislation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with workplace laws, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address performance and conduct issues effectively.
- Deliver training and coaching sessions to managers on employee relations practices.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on employee relations activities.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 2-3 years' experience in ER focused HR advisory roles OR 5-6 years' experience in specialist ER functions.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations frameworks.
- Strong grounding in case management with the ability to take ownership of end to end matters.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
- Confident interpreting policies, procedures and enterprise agreements.
- Skilled in investigation methodology, dispute resolution and advising leaders through sensitive or complex situations.
- Natural relationship builder with resilience and the ability to work effectively in a high volume, blue‑collar environment.
- Collaborative, values driven and motivated to learn from senior ER experts.
Conditions:
- Salary range: $115k-$135k (Advisor), up to $145k (Specialist)
