Description:

  • Manage end to end employee relations casework, including performance, conduct, complex grievances and workplace investigations.
  • Interpret policies, procedures and enterprise agreements, advising on risks and compliant pathways.
  • Develop relationships and provide clear, practical coaching to leaders - building capability in decision making and accountability.
  • Support dispute resolution processes and contribute to building consistent ER practice across the operational workforce.
  • Support managers in interpreting and applying industrial agreements and employment legislation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address performance and conduct issues effectively.
  • Deliver training and coaching sessions to managers on employee relations practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on employee relations activities.



Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience in ER focused HR advisory roles OR 5-6 years' experience in specialist ER functions.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations frameworks.
  • Strong grounding in case management with the ability to take ownership of end to end matters.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Confident interpreting policies, procedures and enterprise agreements.
  • Skilled in investigation methodology, dispute resolution and advising leaders through sensitive or complex situations.
  • Natural relationship builder with resilience and the ability to work effectively in a high volume, blue‑collar environment.
  • Collaborative, values driven and motivated to learn from senior ER experts.





Conditions:

  • Salary range: $115k-$135k (Advisor), up to $145k (Specialist)
