Flinders University is seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join us as City Campus Services and Operations Officer. This new role is central in supporting the smooth operation of the City Campus, including playing a key role in supporting key campus governance committees, along with supporting campus operations, maintaining consumables and facilities, coordinating ad-hoc teaching space bookings, coordinating maintenance requests, and assisting with events and campus activations.
This role is a balance of campus operational support while providing reliable backup support for frontline student services, offering high quality customer service and warm referrals when needed.

Some key responsibilities include:
Providing a range of operational support services to ensure the smooth, day-to-day functioning of the City Campus. Supporting high quality frontline customer service to a wide variety of stakeholders including future students, current students, staff, industry and external visitors, ensuring timely and effective resolution of enquiries as the primary focus of all activities. Providing a range of event support services within a matrix structure to ensure the timely and effective management of events and related logistics. Providing administrative and operational support to key City Campus governance committees including preparing agendas and minutes, scheduling meetings, distributing documentation and assisting with follow-up actions.The incumbent may be required to work within the City Campus hours of operation, these being Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm. Hours worked may be undertaken on a rostered arrangement.
About You
As the City Campus Services and Operations Officer, you will have experience in a high-volume, fast paced, demanding frontline service and/or administrative environment. You are a proactive individual, taking the initiative and actively seeking to improve processes and procedures to elevate our campus and overall customer experience. You will be a reliable, supportive and adaptable team player who can build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, and handle challenges with professionalism. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.
