Forefront of helping customers leverage Accelerated Computing instances, including Trainium/Inferentia, GPU-based workloads, and High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions to solve their most complex business challenges.As a specialist, you'll accelerate the adoption and consumption of Accelerated Compute (XC) services through strategic go-to-market initiatives, co-sell partnerships, sales enablement, and technical support. You'll work backwards from customers to develop and execute GTM strategies that drive innovation in AI/ML, HPC, graphics, and gaming workloads, reinforcing AWS as the best place for customers' Accelerated Compute needs.
Your mission will encompass three key focus areas: leading GTM strategies for Accelerated Compute services, creating leverage through scalable sales plays and field enablement, and shaping the evolution of AWS services by gathering customer insights and market dynamics to influence product roadmaps. You'll collaborate as #OneTeam with AWS Sales, Marketing, Global Services, and Partners to deliver results while providing closed-loop feedback to AWS Service teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for Accelerated Compute services including Trainium/Inferentia, GPU instances, and HPC workloads across ANZ;
- Drive customer adoption through strategic engagements, technical workshops, and executive briefings that demonstrate the value of AWS Accelerated Compute solutions;
- Build and maintain deep relationships with key customers, understanding their workload requirements and translating them into actionable AWS solutions;
- Create repeatable sales plays and enablement materials that help scale successful customer patterns across the field sales organization
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Account Managers, and Partners to identify opportunities and remove technical blockers for customer success
- Aggregate customer capacity requirements and work with EC2 product teams to ensure regional availability meets market demand;
- Provide technical and business expertise to support complex customer migrations to Accelerated Compute instances;
- Gather customer insights, use case feedback, and market trends to influence AWS service roadmaps and feature development;
- Enable field teams, partners, and professional services through training, technical content creation, and thought leadership;
- Track and report on key metrics including pipeline generation, customer adoption, and revenue impact of specialist engagements;
A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing customer engagements and coordinating with account teams on strategic opportunities requiring Accelerated Compute expertise. You might conduct a technical deep-dive session with a Financial Services customer exploring GPU instances for risk modeling, followed by a partner enablement workshop on Trainium for AI/ML workloads. Afternoons could involve collaborating with the worldwide XC team on capacity planning, contributing to a sales play for HPC in life sciences, or providing technical guidance to help close a significant deal. You'll also dedicate time to staying current with the latest AWS innovations, creating customer-facing content, and sharing insights with product teams to shape future service offerings.

The ANZ Accelerated Compute Specialist team is part of the broader AWS Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), working closely with Area Specialist teams across APJ. We're a customer-obsessed team that combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to drive meaningful outcomes. We work as #OneTeam with sales, solutions architecture, partners, and professional services to maximize customer success and AWS growth in the region.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience in advising and influencing executive leadership
- 2+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- 7+ years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT. experience- Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution, or experience with Unreal engine
