Talent Sourcer

Lyrebird Health
Melbourne Full-day Full-time

Description:

The Role

At Lyrebird Health, we’re building a health-tech company that genuinely improves how care is delivered. We’re hiring a high-energy Talent Sourcer to help us find, attract, and win the people who will build the next chapter of Lyrebird. This is a role for someone who wants to be on the front lines of hiring. You are our first impression in the market — the person starting conversations, building belief, and pulling exceptional people into Lyrebird’s orbit long before they’re actively looking.

You’ll spend most of your time out in the market: proactively sourcing, directly engaging world-class talent, and building long-term relationships across commercial, technical, and product roles. This is an ownership role at the tip of the spear. You will lead early hiring conversations, set the quality bar, shape how Lyrebird is perceived by candidates, and directly influence who enters our hiring pipeline.

About Lyrebird

Lyrebird Health is an AI-driven ambient scribe and clinical documentation platform. We help hospitals and health systems reduce administrative burden and improve care quality by turning real clinical conversations into accurate clinical notes that flow into EPRs and other downstream systems. Our work has real impact and that sense of purpose shows up in how seriously we take the people we hire.

What you'll do

  • Proactively source, headhunt, and attract top-tier talent, consistently building strong pipelines
  • Act as Lyrebird’s front face to the talent market, creating energy, belief, and momentum in early conversations
  • Engage candidates directly through thoughtful, high-quality outreach
  • Review and progress inbound applications quickly, ensuring strong candidates never get stuck
  • Lead early-stage hiring conversations and set a high bar for quality and alignment
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand priorities and talent needs
  • Keep candidates informed, respected, and excited throughout the process
  • Help deliver a best-in-class, transparent, human candidate experience

What you'll bring

  • 2–4 years’ experience in recruitment or talent sourcing (agency, in-house, or both)
  • Confidence running proactive outreach alongside managing inbound candidate flow
  • High urgency, grit, resilience, and strong follow-through
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong judgement on quality
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership startup environment
  • A competitive streak and genuine drive to win
  • Bonus points if you’ve recruited across GTM or technical roles

At Lyrebird, we don’t just write code — you’ll help shape the future of the human experience.

If you want to pioneer, to create, and to see your work touch lives directly, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who’ll benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re from an underrepresented background in tech, we especially encourage you to apply — even if you don’t meet every single requirement.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
