Creative Marketing Specialist

NightOwl Entertainment
Claremont Full-day Full-time

Description:

About the Role

Marketing at NightOwl exists to help more people come together and create lasting memories. We build campaigns that drive real results for venues and create meaningful brand value over time.

The Creative Marketing Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality creative work that drives commercial outcomes - graphic design, visual identities, video content, and campaign assets. You'll also build the systems, templates, and processes that enable others to maintain quality and consistency across our brands.

This is not just execution. You'll contribute strategic creative thinking to solve complex business problems, work directly with our Creative Lead to brief and manage contracted designers, and help shape the visual language that defines how NightOwl brands show up in market.

In this role, you'll also lead marketing for one or more NightOwl entertainment brands - building relationships, shaping strategy, and delivering results from end to finish.

NightOwl operates some of Australia's most exciting hospitality and entertainment destinations. We also have more fantastic national brands launching throughout 2026 and 2027. NightOwl is on a massive upswing, and there's genuine career potential as the portfolio expands.

This multi-brand structure means you'll navigate distinct positioning, visual identities, and customer segments - often simultaneously. Each brand has its own creative requirements and personality, giving you the opportunity to work across diverse creative styles and formats.

This is a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, full of big personalities and unexpected turns. You'll need to stay adaptable, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain quality even when priorities shift.

Everyone on the team works across four key areas:

  • Strategy and collaboration with leadership, venue managers and stakeholders
  • Generalist execution and day-to-day delivery on your brand/s
  • Specialist contribution in one focus area - for this role, creative design, visual identity, and production capacity
  • You'll also support the wider team with your expertise, playing a hands-on role in keeping projects moving when priorities shift or capacity needs adjusting

Our structure is clear, our tools are solid, and we've invested heavily in process so the team can focus on doing great work that actually makes a difference. What we need now is creative depth - people who can think strategically about creative solutions, produce excellent work at pace, and build infrastructure that multiplies the team's impact.

You'll split your time between our Nedlands office (where the marketing team is based) and working on-site at venues with stakeholders, venue managers, and operations teams.
