Description:

  • Complete end‑of‑month accounting, reconciliations and reporting across various business units
  • Prepare monthly cashflow reports, cashflow forecasts, BAS and other compliance reporting
  • Manage merchandise or inventory accounting, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue
  • Support the preparation of half‑year and year‑end statutory financial statements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen budgeting, forecasting and financial controls
  • Assist with insurance, risk management, compliance reporting and ad‑hoc finance projects
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, controls and reporting accuracy
  • Provide technical accounting guidance, including interpretation of relevant accounting standards
  • Oversee complex reconciliations and resolve issues across multiple systems or entities
  • Prepare high‑quality management reporting, including variance analysis and financial insights
  • Coordinate audit processes and prepare supporting documentation for external auditors
  • Mentor and support junior finance team members, including reviewing work and sharing technical knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial policies, procedures and governance frameworks



Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualification (or near)
  • Strong practical experience in financial accounting, including reconciliations and statutory reporting
  • Experience within a Big Four or mid‑tier accounting firm (highly regarded)
  • Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across the business
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and accountability
