Responsibilities
Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Open Spaces Labourer to work in our small, multi-skilled team. As a key contributor to enhancing our community open spaces, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining Council’s active and passive play areas, sports fields, pruning, maintaining and planting trees, garden beds, landscaping and construction.
- Working in all civil construction areas.
- Providing a high level of customer service to the municipality.
- Complying with Work Health and Safety regulations and policies at all times.
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program
- Grade 6: $59,680.92 to $69,125.68, (depending on experience) + 12% Super
- Generous leave entitlements, including access to long service leave entitlements after 5 years’ service
- 38 hours per week, with fortnightly RDOs
- Training opportunities
- Ample parking
