Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Supervisor located in Cairns, QLD. The Site Supervisor will oversee and manage daily construction operations, ensuring compliance with project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include supervising on-site teams, coordinating with project stakeholders, monitoring equipment and resources, and maintaining documentation. The Site Supervisor will ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, fostering teamwork and effective communication among crew members.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in site supervision within civil construction, with knowledge of project management and construction methodologies
  • Strong understanding of quality management, environmental sustainability, and safety compliance
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing teams and developing teamwork on-site
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address on-site challenges
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination for smooth project execution
  • Familiarity with the standards ISO9001, ISO14001, and AS/NZS4801 is advantageous
  • A formal qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to embrace challenges, adapt to new situations, and work in a fast-paced environment
