Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site role based in Launceston, TAS, for the position of Bar Waiter. In this role, you will be responsible for serving a variety of beverages and food to guests, ensuring exceptional service that meets the standards of Best Western Plus Launceston. Duties include preparing and serving drinks, delivering food orders to tables, maintaining cleanliness in the bar area, and providing excellent customer care. The role also involves managing customer interactions and creating a welcoming atmosphere in the bar.
Qualifications
- Customer Service and Communication skills to ensure high-quality guest interactions and address customer needs effectively.
- Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service, with knowledge of best practices for serving drinks and meals efficiently and professionally.
- Basic Cooking skills and an understanding of menu offerings are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
