Melbourne Full-day Full-time

Description:

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We move people.

Anthem is an independent entertainment marketing consultancy connecting audiences with live experiences across arts, culture and major events.

We start with passion, assemble the right minds and believe progress comes from courage, imperfection and creative tension.

We are experts, fans and lateral thinkers who are passionate about the arts, collaborative by nature and inclusive by design. We build teams around ideas, not hierarchy, and value people who care deeply about creating great work that makes a difference.

Join us and use your passion to move people.

We're looking for an Account Manager to join Anthem's Client Services team — taking hands-on ownership of key client accounts and driving the end-to-end delivery of campaigns that make an impact. You'll be the engine room of your accounts: keeping projects moving, clients informed, and campaigns performing.

This role blends strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, and calls for someone who thrives on organisation, collaboration, and results. It also demands a strong commitment to creative excellence — shaping content strategy, guiding social and editorial thinking, and working closely with creative, media and strategy teams to translate insight into work that moves audiences and delivers measurable impact.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Client Relationship & Project Management

  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients across their marketing campaigns, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Deliver exceptional project management – keeping projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients to ensure outstanding service delivery at every stage

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Drive the delivery of client campaigns across creative, production, content, and broader agency services, ensuring work meets agreed objectives and standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on campaign strategy, objectives, and seamless delivery
  • Manage relationships with clients’ external partners including ticketing partners, venues, and brand collaborators
  • Oversee timely reporting on campaign performance across key accounts
  • Lead the delivery of paid social media campaigns – from setup and performance tracking through to optimisation and data analysis

Media

  • Support the development of paid media campaigns that deliver on objectives and drive exceptional value for clients
  • Confidently present media plans, reporting insights, and new strategies in client WIP meetings
  • Oversee and manage all media plan approvals and deadlines, including timely dispatch of artwork

Content

  • Develop and lead content strategy, planning, and proactive content conceptualisation
  • Oversee all organic social content, copywriting, and performance

General Admin & Finance

  • Lead budget flighting development in collaboration with the Account Director, Digital Account Director, and Finance Team, and support the team on monthly invoicing for accurate, timely financial tracking
  • Oversee general admin tasks including reviewing client-facing presentations, client contracts, and other administrative duties as required

Team Collaboration

  • Lead the onboarding of new team members, guiding them through key tools, systems, and processes for a smooth transition into their role
  • Support the wider Anthem team in delivering outstanding client service by anticipating and meeting client needs
  • Contribute to a vibrant, positive team culture and provide constructive feedback that reflects Anthem’s values
  • Celebrate and recognise colleagues in line with organisational values

ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ years in a marketing or advertising role, ideally within entertainment, arts, or live events, agency experience highly regarded
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them across integrated campaigns
  • A confident client manager who builds trust quickly and maintains it over time
  • Comfortable presenting media plans, campaign reporting, and creative thinking to senior stakeholders
  • Strong command of paid and organic social; you think in content strategy, not just content
  • Demonstrated creative excellence, with strong copywriting skills and the ability to shape content strategy and social storytelling
  • Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail, able to keep multiple campaigns moving without dropping the ball
  • A natural collaborator who still has a clear point of view and isn't afraid to use it
  • Calm and decisive under pressure, bringing clarity and momentum when things get complex
  • A genuine passion for culture, live performance, major events and the arts that comes through in everything you do
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Experience with Trello, Xero, and Monday desirable
