The Cleared Escort Program is the ADC Global resource provider to Infrastructure, Operations and Services teams for our ADC regions.

The ADC Cleared Escort Program is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Senior Operations Manager. The cleared escort team provides an internal service, providing construction and operations security escorts, who accompany uncleared personnel into data centre areas to ensure our work meets stringent regulations for access and security. You will create, develop and build the programs cleared escort program, oversee the team of contractors and manage cleared security resources across a geographically dispersed program. You will work with multiple partners across a matrixed organisation to understand their use of uncleared labour, and will help define the correct cleared escorting support to meet their needs. You will work with escort vendors to procure and then manage a central pool of escorting resources, aligned to that demand, making sure each team has the resources they need, when they need them. You will oversee the training and performance of the security escorts.

Key job responsibilities
You will work with the existing Cleared Escort Program team, business partner teams, and manage the cleared security escorts to build a new program specific escort program and raise the bar for security standards across the Cleared Escort Program Portfolio.

Additional duties include:
Program Establishment: Create a full program mechanism for the management of program specific cleared escorting requirements. This includes utilisaiton of AWS inhouse ticketing tools and other GenAI tools for reporting and dashboards.

AWS Customer Management: Manage demand from our internal customers – our business partner teams - including forecasting and utilisation of resources to meet customer needs.
Drive adherence to program processes through effective engagement and training.

Resource Management: Manage resource prioritisation and scheduling, ensuring efficient utilisation and timely delivery. Provide escalation reporting and management. Provide escort, clearance processing, training and delivery.

Communications Management: Effectively engage with stakeholders, AWS Customers, and vendors to manage expectations, align on priorities, and facilitate solutions.

Interact with stakeholders to define and deliver solutions, establish standard processes and quality experiences. Work with the AWS teams to improve planning and resource use efficiency.

Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to achieve target metrics, including identifying and communicating potential risks and obstacles, and providing corrective action plans.

Reporting: Deliver comprehensive financial, business analytics, and voice of the customer reporting to provide visibility and insights for decision-making.

A day in the life
Partner with Regional Security Manager and all Data Centre Security Managers, infrastructure and service Technical Infrastructure Program Managers and Project Managers to capture the escort requirements across the lifecycle of the region. Work directly with cleared escort vendors and personnel security partners to procure, clear, onboard/train, schedule and deliver the resource to customers. Maintain routine communication with stakeholders for daily escort utilisation. Measure, assess and report out program analytics and voice of the customer feedback in support of business reviews.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of people management experience
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of security-related professional experience
- Experience managing vendors in a highly regulated environment- Experience working with Cleared Security Escorts and Cleared Security Escort vendors
- Understanding of the Australian Government’s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
