Job duties:
- Maintain payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Drafting, Issuing and amending employment contracts.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with superannuation, taxation, and other statutory obligations.
- Support the accounting and finance team with related administrative duties.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the payroll function.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience in prior payroll and contracts administration.
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including superannuation and taxation.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
