Description:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Guide the implementation and management of a new safety system
- Provide leadership and support to operational teams on HSEQ matters.
- Be a key point of contact for site leaders to address HSEQ concerns and performance
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualifications in occupational health and safety at a minimum of diploma level.
- Strong experience in HSEQ performance in the Civil and Earthmoving contracting sector
- A highly developed commercial acumen, with a strong focus on balancing risk with commercial performance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with both corporate, customer and site-based stakeholders
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
