Accounts Receivable Officer

Description:

We’re currently working with a well-established organisation, based in inner Brisbane, seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their busy finance team. This is a permanent, full-time, offering the opportunity to work with a values-driven organisation with a fantastic reputation.
The Role: As part of a close-knit finance team, you’ll be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable function. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys structure, autonomy, and is confident juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your key duties will include:

• Issuing invoices to a range of internal and external stakeholders
  
• Following up outstanding payments and preparing write-off submissions
  
• Processing and receipting incoming payments
  
• Conducting weekly debtor analysis and reporting
  
• Ensuring data accuracy within the finance system, including journal corrections where necessary
  
• Maintaining compliance and high standards of data management
  
• Managing sensitive client and organisational information with strict confidentiality
  
• Supporting the wider finance team as needed

• A proven track record within a similar role
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Solid Excel and analytical skills
  
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  
• Experience handling high-volume transactions in a deadline-driven environment
  
• A high level of attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
