About the Role
We are currently seeking a compassionate, capable and professional Support Worker who is confident and experienced in:

Providing full personal care (including assistance with showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming)
Manual handling and use of hoists and mobility equipment
Supporting participants with varying needs, including complex or high-intensity daily personal activities

Duties also include:

  • Meal preparation and household tasks

  • Community access and transport

  • Medication assistance & Administration

  • Social and emotional support

  • Accurate progress notes documentation and communication with the team

About You
You are calm, reliable and passionate about supporting people to live on their own terms. You approach care with respect, dignity, and professionalism, and are confident working both independently and as part of a team.

You will need:

  • Experience with hoisting and personal care (essential)

  • A person-centred, trauma-informed approach

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • A strong understanding of dignity of risk, choice and control

Required Credentials:

  • Current CPR

  • NDIS Modules - https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Working with Children Check

  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, full comprehensive insured vehicle

  • Birth certificate or Passport
