Your role will focus on collaborating with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, enhance, and maintain project support materials while managing the online resource centre to ensure accessibility and usability for internal teams.You will coordinate governance frameworks within the CoE, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards, while also evaluating and optimizing tools that empower teams to drive successful project outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing
- Leading working groups and collaborating with subject matter experts, policy teams, and compliance units to develop a diverse range of artefacts and guidance materials using data-driven insights to refine project management and contract management methodologies.
- Providing a key liaison point for practitioners to engage with the CoE, leveraging analytic to assess user engagement with the CoE resources and improve accessibility and effectiveness.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality artefacts and guidance materials aligned with PMBoK guidelines and departmental policies, integrating performance metrics to track utilisation and impacts. Collaborating with the workforce and Subject Matter Experts to ensure CoE services are responsive to the changing needs of the organisation and that best practice approaches to service delivery.
- Enhancing service delivery by collaborating with stakeholders and analysing workforce feedback data to ensure CoE services remain responsive to organisational needs.
- Conducting selective peer reviews of key project artefacts, such as Project Management Plans, Risk Management Plans, and Terms of Reference, using benchmarking data and project performance indicators to strengthen governance and decision-making.
- Managing assurance frameworks, applying quantitative risk assessment models and quality control metrics to ensure optimal outcomes for infrastructure projects.
- Interpreting and advising on the application of government policies, frameworks, and standards, using trend analysis and reporting tools to ensure compliance and inform strategic recommendations.
- Driving research initiatives, incorporating data analytics to identify emerging trends and industry best practices that enhance project management methodologies within the Queensland Government.
- Leading CoE planning and work delivery, using data modelling and forecasting techniques to support forward work plan development and prioritisation of key initiatives.
- Supporting capability building, fostering a strong understanding of project and contract management principles while integrating data-driven decision-making approaches throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proven ability to lead projects, collaborate with teams, and ensure risks are mitigated and milestones achieved.
- Demonstrated ability to organise work priorities so they deliver on broader organisational commitments.
- The ability to maintain effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High competency in operating software packages including Microsoft 365 Suite, MS Project, etc.
