About The Position
WorkPac are currently seeking a Supervisor Project Deliverywith a passion for safety, quality and people to join Rio Tintos Paraburdoo Rehabilitation Team. This role has strong safety leadership exposure and is a great opportunity to showcase your coaching, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising rehabilitation and construction activities, whilst ensuring the projects are completed safely according to Rio Tinto Standards, Policies and procedures, established schedules, budgets and quality standards.
You will work 8 days on, 6 days off roster?which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Key Responsibilities Include
Drive continuous improvement, maintain a safe working environment for you and your colleagues and effectively support contractors onsite.Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a culture of collaboration, participation and improvement.Actively promote compliance with standardised processes, systems and toolsManaging rehabilitation projects to enhance productivity, safety, and asset reliability.Provide technical and hands on support, direction and management allocated projects with a strong focus on site safety and contractor management.Site mobilisation, performance monitoring, co-ordinate works around other site activities, resolve design queries and delay issues.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven safety leadership skills and the ability to positively engage with a wide range of internal and external of stakeholders.Have experience in Project Management, Contractor Management and Iron Ore Contractor Management (CM One).Tertiary education or trade qualification within Heritage management, Engineering, Civil, or Mining Engineering is highly regarded, but not essential.Previous experience in the mining, civil or earthworks industry is highly regarded.Adaptable and passionate people leader with a proven track record of success with effectively leading, mentoring, and coaching team members, and contract partnersAbility to work in a diverse team and with diverse teams.Experience using SAP.Experience working with Pilbara Aboriginal Businesses is advantageous.Previous experience in cultural engagement within miningHold a valid Australian C class drivers license.
