We’re seeking a strategic and influential Director to lead engagement and communications for the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division.You’ll drive high-level stakeholder coordination, develop impactful media strategies and ensure alignment across government and Games delivery partners.

Your Opportunity
As Director, Engagement, you'll lead strategic stakeholder coordination and communications across government, Games delivery partners, and Brisbane 2032.
You'll oversee innovative media strategies and ensure consistent, impactful messaging that supports the successful delivery of venues and villages infrastructure.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

In This Role, You Will
- Lead stakeholder engagement and coordination for the Games Infrastructure delivery program.
- Develop and implement communication strategies, including digital media, aligned with the 2032 Delivery Plan.
- Oversee media services that promote the department's vision and activities with authority and consistency.
- Represent the department in forums and negotiations with external stakeholders, including the Games Independent Infrastructure Coordination Authority (GIICA).
- Build and maintain strategic relationships across government and Games partners.
- Provide leadership to the Engagement team, fostering capability, performance and a positive team culture.
