The Opportunity
Operating from within the Communities & Liveability Department, you will deliver Customer Services at the Tara Library and the Queensland Government Agency Office (QGAP) when required. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Centre Services Officer. This role is based in two dynamic environments, providing both public library, and Queensland Government Agency Office services.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service experiences to patrons and clients alike.
About Yourself
Formal qualifications are not required for this role; however, the ideal candidate should possess proven capabilities in executing diverse tasks, with a special emphasis on customer service, digital literacy, community engagement, and teamwork. A valid driver's license is a prerequisite for this position due to the necessity for travel.
- A strong background in a customer service environment with a passionate and innovative mindset towards improving and optimising customer experience
- Previous experience in customer service, libraries, or government agencies is desirable but not essential
- A relevant qualification in library studies, information services, or a related field is advantageous
- The successful applicant will have or be able to obtain a working with children blue card

Salary Packaging Available

Leave Loading
You will receive 17.5% leave loading on top of your base rate of pay, while you are on Annual Leave.
