We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Position Overview As a Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellent food and hospitality. This full-time position is ideal for a passionate individual with strong culinary skills and a dedication to maintaining the highest food standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assisting the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily kitchen operations.
• Managing food preparation and storage to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Contributing to menu development by bringing creative ideas and feedback.
• Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organized, and operates efficiently.
• Monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and assisting with inventory management.
• Collaborating with the team to create a positive and productive work environment.
What We’re Looking For
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for creating high-quality dishes and working with fresh, local ingredients.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
