About Goodstart Moulden – Temple Terrace
Goodstart Moulden – Temple Terrace is a 73-place centre who is on a look out for an Assistant Director. Offering a welcoming and stimulating learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. Our 73-place centre blends natural and manmade play spaces designed to foster environmental awareness, curiosity, and creativity.
We are a Meeting-rated service as assessed by ACECQA, reflecting our commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality care and education in line with the National Quality Standard.
• Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Director to join our team and take a hands-on leadership role, specifically in our Nursery Room (0–2 years).
• Work closely with the Centre Director to oversee daily operations and Early Childhood Professionals support.
• As a Lead in the Nursey Room, you’ll receive 2.5 – 3 hours a week of programming time for curriculum with the support of other team members in the room.
• Assistant Director time off the floor of dedicated 2 hours a week for administrative and leadership tasks.
• Team Collaboration - Share the workload and foster a positive, supportive team culture.
• Be a Role Model - Demonstrate excellence in practice, setting standards for others to follow.
• A passion for fostering meaningful relationships with children, families, and educators

In this role, you will:
• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

You’ll need:
• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current NT Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
• Northern Territory – Registration not required (non-mandated)
