Description:
As a Principal Data Analyst, you will deliver high quality data and data analysis to assist Housing and Homelessness Services Program areas with developing, evaluating, monitoring and reporting on housing and homelessness assistance programs, products and services. The work will entail liaising and collaborating with other government data/data analysis teams within and external to the department, to develop and produce data and/or report on housing and homeless assistance outcomes at a state or national level.What you will be doing:- Lead, support and contribute to provision of data and data analysis for evidencebased planning, strategy, policy and program development of Queensland housing and homelessness programs, products and services that address evolving needs and issues.- Take a leadership role in the development, quality assurance and provision of high-quality data, analysis, and reporting, including the ability to use and provide advice to other officers on data analysis and the use of relevant software.- Work with and support program area team members to source, compile and analyse data to inform development of and investment in housing and homelessness programs, products, and services.- Support data analysis and reporting team members and use effective interpersonal communication to ensure positive team performance and high levels of motivation and satisfaction.- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other professionals, internal and external stakeholders across the department.
