The Role:
We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying prospects, conducting rental appraisals, and listing new rental managements to grow our rent roll, while delivering exceptional client experiences.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Expand the number and quality of properties under management.
- Develop and nurture relationships to grow the rent roll.
- Deliver exceptional service to clients while ensuring new listings are leased at market rates promptly.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with landlords and tenants to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Understand and apply legislative requirements related to property management agreements.
- Conduct listing presentations to prospective landlords and maintain the agency's database of potential clients: This showcases the importance of client engagement and database management, key elements for success in the role.
- Ensure new managements are accurately documented, compliant, and handed over smoothly to the Property Manager.
- Meet all new landlords needs and adhere to their instructions.

About you - We are looking for someone with:
- A proven track record in business development, or a solid sales career, (property management experience is highly regarded).
- A strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and local area knowledge.
- A passion for delivering world-class client experiences, with exceptional people skills and a customer service focus.
- Excellent organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, along with professional presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with property management software (desirable).
- Comfort with cold calling, prospecting, and relationship-building, with a solutions-focused approach.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a well-maintained vehicle.
- A current Real Estate licence.
