Role DescriptionAs the Site Supervisor, you will be the key on-site leader responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day construction activities. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the high standard Buildscope is known for. This role suits a hands-on, motivated professional with experience in custom residential builds and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Main responsibilities:Oversee all on-site operations for custom home buildsManage construction schedules and coordinate trades to meet deadlinesEnsure adherence to all plans, specifications, and client requirementsLiaise with customers in a professional mannerLead, motivate, and manage trades and subcontractors on-site including regular site checks, toolbox meetings, and site inductionsConduct quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a high standard and rectify defects promptly.Keep accurate daily records, logs, and documentationManage OH&S, and conduct regular risk assessments and site audits recorded through HazardCoRepresent Buildscope with professionalism, integrity, and a solutions-focused mindset
What you will bring:5+ years’ experience supervising residential building sites, ideally within high-end custom buildsA current Residential Site Supervisor licence is mandatoryResidential Trade qualification (e.g. carpentry) highly regardedA current white card certification and driver’s licenseSolid knowledge of the NCC, local regulations, and construction best practicesStrong understanding of construction methods, techniques & materialsExcellent communication skills to deal with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, architects, and other stakeholdersStrong project management skills for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationUnderstanding of all OH&S standards, safety protocols, risk assessmentHigh attention to detail and a commitment to quality controlStrong leadership and organisational abilitiesAbility to keeping accurate site records and documentationTeam player with good people skillsDisciplined and can work with minimal supervisionAnd of course….
