About the role
Our National Company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in the South Eastern Suburbs. This full-time position is responsible for managing all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes within the company.
What you'll be doing

Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices in a timely manner

Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, statement preparation and chasing overdue payments

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented

Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers to resolve any billing or payment issues

Prepare reports and support the month-end close process

Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an accounts payable and accounts receivable role

Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills

Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
