Description:
Construction will be based in the Central West Orana Region, near Mudgee. The project will have a camp and successful candidates who are not based in the Central West Orana Region will be on a 14 day on 7 day off roster staying at camp. Ideally as this role will spend some time in our Sydney office prior to going to site, you will need to be based in Sydney or NSW. FIFO will not be considered at this time for this role.
The ACEREZ consortium, which includes the ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), has been appointed Preferred Proponent to design and construct the transmission line infrastructure for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ), as part of Australia’s energy transition, outlined in the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.
The new transmission infrastructure, which will combine high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure, will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers in the CWO REZ to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW while helping to meet the state’s newly legislated Net Zero targets.
