Its products are sold into a wide variety of markets; from construction materials, refractory/foundry, and automotive, along with other specialty application areas such as electronics and composites.
ResponsibilitiesBuilding an effective sales plan and call cycle to maintain existing sales and highlight priorities for business developmentDevelop and manage relationships across Australia and New Zealand, including end clients and distributorsAccount management of existing clients and exploring opportunities for further use of company productsDevelopment of new business, via market research and effective targeting of new customersProduct & sales training to support international distributors and their sales teamsTechnical support and providing answers to product use and applicationsForecasting salesBuilding relationships across client businesses to support purchasing, production and R&D functionsTrack competitor activity and stay ahead of industry trendsReporting on results and future sales opportunitiesRegular travel across Australia and New Zealand
Who are you?An experienced sales executive within the chemicals raw materials market (or related industries), with a track record of successYou have exemplary communication skills (verbal and written)A great eye for detailOrganised and able to manage market/budget planning, execution, reporting and analysis of results and future opportunitiesAble to discuss technical solutions and options with customersProfessional presentation and training skillsTechnical background and relevant experience would be highly regarded
