The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Advisor to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director, this role is pivotal in driving HR initiatives, supporting our workforce, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support across all levels of the organisation
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
- Conduct recruitment process by arranging advertisements of job vacancies. Identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts
- Coordinate training sessions for new recruits
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Make plans to train them for their assigned jobs especially warehouse staff to manage various tasks of a warehouse, including stocking products in racks. Picking and packing products. Loading product pallets into pallets for shipping. Handling and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
- Conduct performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors.
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and occupational health and safety rules
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Support workplace culture, staff engagement, and wellbeing initiatives
- Handle general HR administration and reporting
- Communicate in Vietnamese with Retail Florist, Vendors and Customers with Vietnamese background who is the main customers in the business, when they have issue
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR generalist/advisory role
- Solid knowledge of Australian employment law and Fair Work regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and support a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience in a retail, manufacturing, or distribution environment is advantageous

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
