About You

A unique development opportunity for a dedicated and committed HR professional. If you hold at least a Diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline and have a passion for growing your expertise across the full spectrum of HR functions, we'd love to hear from you.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • HR Expertise: Demonstrated experience working across the full HR spectrum, particularly in Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR), with a solid understanding of employment contracts, awards, and the Fair Work Act
  • HR Information Systems: Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, including implementation, integration, and enhancing efficiencies within HR processes
  • Recruitment & Workforce Planning: Proven skills in high-volume recruitment and strategic workforce planning, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic, performance-focused environment

  • A friendly, flexible, and collaborative approach that fosters teamwork and builds exceptional relationships with co-workers, employees, and leaders, both in person and remotely

About The Role

Reporting to the Human Resource Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of HR functions. This position provides assistance in onboarding, learning and development, performance management, recruitment, and general HR administration.

You will ensure a high-quality and timely workflow in HR administration, delivering excellent service to the team while maintaining complete confidentiality.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Coordinate the recruitment and talent acquisition process, liaising with the Senior Recruitment Partner, management, and external agencies as required
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to employees and managers throughout the employment lifecycle
  • Co-ordinate work experience and industry programs
  • Prepare contracts of employment and other employment-related correspondence, including staff transfers, salary changes, and confirmation of employment letters
  • Ensure new starter documentation is complete and accurate for setting up new employees
  • Champion the end-to-end induction processes alongside operational teams and the broader HR team
  • Guide leaders on onboarding and induction initiatives for new employees
  • Respond efficiently to the critical everyday needs of the business
  • Oversee probationary period reviews, including audits and issuing reminders to managers
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to support business needs and drive key HR initiatives/projects
  • Provide general support on various administrative and operational matters to ensure the effective running of the HR team
  • Report to the Leadership team on headcount, fixed-term contract end dates, leave, metrics, and general HR reporting
  • Coordinate and maintain records for key employee anniversary dates, such as training, probation, and wage rates
  • Establish and nurture open, collaborative relationships with management, employees, and stakeholders
  • Support the identification and delivery of actions in response to employee engagement surveys
