The Manager Governance and Reporting will play a key role in supporting COO to make informed and high-quality risk decisions. With a continuous improvement and operational excellence mindset, you will be responsible for driving consistency, simplicity and efficiency into the governance framework and processes. Responsible for supporting several risk committees, you will also engage and influence numerous stakeholders across the business to embed effective risk governance behaviours to achieve better risk outcomes.
Key to your success is your resilience and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment that can be demanding due to its constant need to improve and the dynamic response to change.
This role will report to the Senior Manager Governance and Reporting
On any given day you will
Lead governance activities for EGM-level Risk Committees across COO including co-ordination of papers, follow up of actions, agendas and meeting minutes.
Drive consistency of quality governance activities across COO lines of business.
Support the Committee Chair, members and business areas to ensure that high-quality, relevant and consistent information is provided to Risk Committees and Forums, facilitating decision-making and promoting an integrated view of risk management across COO.
Drive key business decision making by delivering relevant and value added strategic and tactical analytics and reporting.
Use commercial acumen to translate analytics into meaningful business insight which can be translated into effective recommendation into decision making and business strategy.
Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders to become a trusted advisor and maximise effectiveness of analytics services, embedding reporting and analytics in everyday business.
Your experience looks like
The successful candidate will ideally possess strong technical skills and knowledge in Operational Risk and Compliance. You will also have a solution focused mindset which can find ways to balance the needs of various stakeholder groups. We’re also looking for:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organisational, planning, time management, and project management skills.
Proficient in critical, analytical, and strategic thinking.
Ability to engage with and influence a large and varied stakeholder group.
