Medical Ward 1 is a 29-bed acute medical ward with specialties of Nephrology (Renal), Respiratory and Gastroenterology and is one of five medical wards that fall within the remit of Medical Services Group (MSG).

- Salary range: $35.92 to $38.12 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Enrolled Nurse is an associate to the registered nurse in providing patient/client-centred nursing care under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Evidence of completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous therapy.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
