We are looking for a reliable and friendly Switchboard Operator to join the team at ISLHD. In this role, you will answer and direct phone calls to the right areas, provide excellent customer service, and page medical and hospital staff when needed. You will keep contact details and rosters up to date, respond to emergency calls and alarms, and record any actions taken. You’ll also help update the hospital phone directory and work closely with different teams across the hospital.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
