We are currently looking for a Finance Manager or an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.
The Role, What You’ll Be Doing

Report directly to the CFO, providing strategic financial oversight and guidance
-
Mentor and support the Australian finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Oversee financial systems, transactions, and reporting across all Australian locations.

Manage end-of-month processes, including reconciliations, BAS, GST, PAYG, and payroll.

Lead the consolidation of financials for Australian and New Zealand trading entities.

Maintain and enhance cash flow models and financial reporting for board-level review.

Ensure ongoing financial compliance, accurate documentation, and robust internal controls.

Drive system and process improvements, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Liaise with external advisors and internal stakeholders, including participation in Board meetings.

Contribute to dashboard reporting, KPI tracking, and strategic financial planning.

Support project leads in leveraging the ERP platform for accurate project financial monitoring.
Experience
-
CA or CPA qualified (or currently working towards accreditation).
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of Australian taxation, payroll, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience in project-based environments, ideally within professional services or consulting sectors.

Advanced proficiency in Xero or comparable accounting platforms.

Strong communication skills with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.

Proactive, systems-minded professional with a passion for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Knowledge
-
Strong understanding of Australian taxation applicable to large businesses

Solid knowledge of consolidation principles and acquisition accounting

Accounting qualification (CA/CPA)
