We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse in Townsville , preparing steel products for delivery. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail, solid forklift skills, and a team-first attitude.
Role Overview You’ll be consolidating steel components used in shed construction — including gutters, sheeting, and purlins. Your daily tasks will include:
- Bundling and shrink-wrapping materials for delivery
- Operating forklifts (ideally experienced with steel products)
- Manual handling and general warehouse / yard duties
- Working closely with a supportive team to meet daily targets
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Experience handling steel products (preferred)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, motivated, and a solid team player
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
- Regular Saturday overtime available
- Weekly pay + Superannuation paid weekly
