Health and Wellbeing Officer
About your new role
As a Health and Wellbeing Officer, you will support the successful delivery of the City’s Employee Health and Wellbeing Plan, with a primary focus on physical wellbeing. Working within the Safety and Wellbeing Branch, you will help coordinate and deliver evidence-based programs that support employee wellbeing across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the development, delivery, and promotion of health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Coordinating a calendar of health-related events and activities, including marketingand logistics.
- Facilitating wellbeing education sessions and preventive programs, including InBody scans, Fitness Passport, and My Health for Life.
- Working with internal stakeholders to embed health and wellbeing into the City’s workplace culture.
- Monitoring and analysing participation and engagement data to evaluate program success.
- Identifying new opportunities based on employee feedback and emerging wellbeing needs.
- Providing administrative and procurement support, including using SAP systems.
We're looking for people who have:
You’re a proactive and collaborative professional with a genuine passion for health promotion. With strong interpersonal and organisational skills, you’re confident working with diverse teams and stakeholders. Please refer to the position brief attached for further details on requirements of role.
• Experience in delivering health and wellbeing programs or health promotion.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• The ability to analyse and interpret data for program evaluation.
• Experience in event coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with administrative processes and systems like SAP is desirable.
• Current open driver's licence - class C unrestricted
