An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Labourer to join our Parks and Recreation Team in Moranbah. This position reports to the Team Leader – Parks and Recreation and is responsible for the care, maintenance and development of the green spaces in Moranbah and its surrounds. This includes all our parks, gardens, reserves, cemeteries, sporting precincts, aerodromes, some roadsides, and community facilities in our smaller towns and camping areas.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
  • A sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
  • A White Card - Construction Induction
  • A ‘C’ Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
  • The ability to pass pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing

If you are successful, we will provide you:

  • $65,227.21 - $66,375.54 per annum plus allowances, Stream B Level Two (2) - Level Three (3)
  • Nominally 76 hours over a 9-day fortnight
  • 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata @ 17.5% loading
  • Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
  • RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement

  • Discounted private health insurance through Bupa Health
